"I own several leatherman tools and I'm always happy with the product. I finally pulled the trigger on the Arc and bought the 200 + knife and it's worth every penny. The action on it is so smooth I can't stop fidgeting with it. And being able to pull every tool with such ease and with one hand is amazing! Very happy with the Arc. Definitely a forever knife."
"Buncha buzzwords in the description claiming it's the "strongest yet" "most durable" and yet for some reason has poor quality rubber between the plier head and body that are prone to failing under heat, fluids, chemicals that cause failure opening and closing. On top of that who decided to put the thumb stud of the blade so low? The stud has no reason being in front of the edge the way it is. Could've very easily put it where the USA stamp is and it would 1) still clear the handle cutout and 2) would no longer be in the way cutting and sharpening. $240 for a Leatherman that seems better at first glance but after using it is just lacking for how much you gotta fork over. Not even a full month of carrying it as an auto technician and it's already being sent in for warranty due to the rubber being blown out and tearing."
"Shipping took a while but it was worth the wait. My leatherman ARC is everything it was promised to be and I’m proud to show it off to everyone. Especially all the people who don’t know they need one yet. A leatherman is kinda like Jesus. You don’t realize how badly you need it. But once you’ve got one. It becomes part of your EDC. (Every Day Carry)"
"I carry this daily. Some have complained about unfolded flex in plier mode. Im not really wrenching on crazy intense things. If I needed a more stout tool, id used beefier tools than a leatherman. I will say its a bit more pricey, but the quick open feature and impressive blade are what would "justify" cost but in the end, you decide. I like the talos color with leather snap closed sheath; kinda old-school with new school tech. I imagine ill never need another leatherman. . . i think. In the end, im pleased with it and anticipate it'll be my primary go to for daily use."
"I have been a fan of leatherman for about 19 years. I usually get the latherman wave plus but I saw this new arc and couldn't resist with all the new parts and material. The magnacut blade is a big selling point and the pliers are big, chunky, and much more powerful than previous models. I also love the custom detailing options that come out wonderfully. A+++"
"I bought the Leatherman arc talos the other day to replace my Leatherman wave plus. I was skeptical seeing some stories of the arc and all I can say is it’s amazing. I had to cut fencing wire today due to cows being out and it’s much easier than the wave plus. The Coating is really nice. I’ve heard it might come off but it hasn’t yet!z"
"Has some quirks. The ledges to hook your fingernail in to her the blades out were a poor choice. Being so close to the hinge it takes a lot of force to get them to move. Bring so close together I seldom get one. It's awkward to get the right tool out and only that one. In the "use type" section below you need to add "work". I work in maintenance. This tool is endlessly useful, especially when you buy the bit kit."
"I love the free system and everything locking, however the price is so steep and most people don’t really need a magna cut blade, also the only tool I thing should be changed it the glasses screwdriver it makes no sense being on a tool this versatile maybe put a t-shank with a short blade or something that is more for the trades."
"I've carried a leatherman multitool for years, and eventually settled on the Wave as my go-to. It's been incredibly useful, and served me well, but the Arc finally caught my eye and I took a chance on it. It has been an upgrade in every sense. I admit I often find myself reaching for it over full-sized tools when working around the house, and I carry it with me everywhere I go. The Talos cerakote finish is tough and plenty grippy, the pliers and replaceable cutter blades have excellent tolerances, and the new magnacut main blade is an absolute workhorse. It's well worth the price."
"I discovered the Leatherman brand just a couple of months ago and became incredibly fascinated by their products and the sub culture behind these multi tools so I decided to buy an Arc. I went ahead and paid the premium for a custom model adding a design to one of the handles plus both sides of the Magna Cut blade. The quality is amazing. The only complaint I really have is that the black coating on one handle is noticeably lighter than the other one which bothered me at first but I learned to just accept it. Hopefully this doesn’t affect the durability over time."
