Horrible design

"My agency was issued these last year, and I would say about 80% of us have had the screw come a loose or break. We're a pretty big county mind you and having this happen within the first couple of weeks receiving them sucks when there could be an emergency at any point in time."

Lost Shears

"After a year of use the screw and plastic got stripped. The holster itself became unscrewed from the clip portion. My shears went flying every week until one time I lost them on a call. Now Im out a pair of shears and the holster because the holster design is not meant to withstand the test of time. (BTW, shears got rusty too). Looking into a replacement that is NOT Leatherman"

Get an Aftermarket or Custom holster

"We were issued these by our department and it didn't even take a full week for my holster to get snagged on something and end up snapping right off. I'm actually incredibly disappointed in the quality in these holsters."

". . . the screw in the first one came out (fairly brand new) while working and I was never able to find it. Overall it's been a great product but trying to find a lost screw while running EMS calls makes things a tad more challenging."
